Below is an overview of some of the solutions our machine provides, each of these solutions has many specific applications which are also listed within it. The AquaFlame system is simply a precise and stable flame that allows use within many industries and for a large array of different solutions within each industry.

Casting

Aquaflame machines are ideal for use in Investment casting wax rooms for a number of jointing and cleaning up operations. Use of a hydrogen torch allows a cleaner wax assembly leading to a reduction of inclusions in cast parts.

Annealing

Aquaflame can be used for annealing metal. The no.18 tip will produce a flame large, enough to cover the bar so that the correct annealing process can be achieved.

Micro precision

Aquaflame is used across a multitude of applications due to its precise flame, making it a great tool for intricate areas, internal sections (e.g. holes or thin wire). If you have any questions regarding micro soldering for your own specific industry or application, please speak to an expert:

Soldering

Certain metals such as white metal have a very low melting point and therefore require precision in terms of soldering so that other parts are not damaged. Aquaflame produces an extremely precise flame, especially with the no.24 tip allowing easy soldering of white metal parts.

Flame Polishing

Aquaflame equipment is widely used in the plastic fabrication industry for the flame polishing of transparent thermoplastic acrylic. Acrylic is also known as Plexiglas, Perspex, Poly(methyl methacrylate) PMMA, as well as by the trade names Plexiglas, Acrylite, Lucite, Oroglas, Altuglas, Cryolite Optix, and Perspex . After acrylic is cut, lasered or CNC routed there is often the need to add a final polished edge. Aquaflame is ideally suited to achieve this.
