Aquaflame Systems is dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. Our specially equipped service department offers a complete maintenance solution for most types of micro welding and flame polishing equipment. Aquaflame is able to service all makes of microflame equipment from all manufacturers.

Aquaflame equipment should be serviced every 4000 hours.

The machine is assessed and a binding free of charge service estimate is provided before carrying out the work.

Once you have provided us with the go ahead our professional and fully trained engineers complete the service and return the equipment in full working order. Full records are kept of all machines for future reference and our work is backed up with a 12 month service warranty.

Loan machines are available if booked in advance to help you maintain production while your own machine is being serviced. Turnaround is normally 5 working days. Our customer care policy is to provide a friendly service, to work effectively to resolve your query and to always keep you informed. Please also be aware that we can arrange collection by our own carriers.

MANUFACTURING IN UK…

Aquaflame equipment is hand assembled in our factory in Birmingham. For over 25 years Aquaflame systems has applied a policy of continuous improvement and innovation. The Aquaflame is designed for ease of operation and if well maintained will provide a life time of reliability. Quality is built in as standard and all machines are pre-tested in the factory before dispatch. The Aquaflame team takes great pride in producing machines for many applications where power and precision are required. These include the flame polishing of acrylic edges, precious metal jewellery production and all types of micro soldering and micro brazing.

Aquaflame is completely safe to use as it produces gas on demand and therefore there is no need to store pressurized gas bottles. Aquaflame is CE certified.

PREPARING AN AQUAFLAME FOR RETURN TO AQUAFLAME SERVICE CENTRE

To avoid damage during transit, it is very important to pack machines correctly that are being returned to the Aquaflame Service Centre. Please follow the following instructions very carefully.

The cell containing the caustic solution within the main unit must be emptied. This is best done with a siphon purchased from us or from any large chemist.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ATTEMPT TO SIPHON BY MOUTH.

The solution must be disposed of very carefully with plenty of water down an industrial sink or drain, you are advised to wear protective gloves and wash hands thoroughly if they come in contact with the solution.

Cut off a piece of the black neoprene tubing, bend over and using a cable tie or piece of wire secure the folded piece of tubing. This will create a plug, which can be placed over the gas outlet to prevent any small quantities of fluid left in the machine from leaking out.

It is advised that you send you send your Booster / Atomiser and torch for testing along with your machine. The Booster must be emptied of MEK or any other contents and both openings sealed by placing the neoprene tube that normally connects the Booster with the machine over the openings so that it creates a loop from the gas outlet to the gas inlet. This will prevent any residual fluids from leaking out.

The machine must then be very strongly packaged in a robust box with plenty of packing.

MOST IMPORTANTLY PLACE PLENTY OF PACKING UNDER THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE.

Place on small pallet if available. Mark clearly on the box which way up the box should be to make sure the couriers do not turn the machine upside down – the machine is very bottom heavy.
